Anne Curtis
Anne Curtis Smith, a Filipino Australian model and television host and recording artist was awarded numerous awards throughout her professional career. These include two FAMAS Awards one Luna Award and two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards. She was also nominated two times for Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis has appeared in a number of television series, including Hiram kampanerang kuba (2005) Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa (2008) Green Rose 2011 and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw 2013. She played Dyesebel, the Komiks icon in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Other roles she has held include hosting the popular midday show It's Showtime, from 2009 until 2020. Anne Curtis born 17 February 1985, is an Australian-Filipina actress host of model TV, entrepreneur, and record producer. Her long-running career has won numerous awards including her two FAMAS Awards two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards in addition to as five PMPC Star Awards. In addition, she was recognized for nominations to two Gawad Urian Awards and eight PMPC Star Awards for Movies. She portrayed in 2014 the famous Komiks the character Dyesebel in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Additionally, she was host of the popular variety show It's Showtime in the afternoon (2009-2010) Curtis, the daughter of Carmencita Ojales from Bolinao Pangasinan in Australia as well as James Ernest Curtis Smith an Australian lawyer, was born on July 25th, 1970 at Yarrawonga. Her father was married to Ojales in 1982. Jasmine's younger sister, also an actor, is her father. Clare was a daughter-in-law of their father's side. She died at just four months old in 2007.
